Struck began when veteran musician, Amanda Lombard, decided to branch out in the music world to create a new sound in the Austin music scene. She left her previous project, Litany for the Departed, to find herself and create music that was true to her heart. In February of 2009, she found guitar player James Brock and piano player Rosalba Brock and the three immediately started writing together. They have a musical chemistry that brings out the best in each of them. Their goal is the same...they want to have their music heard and convey a message. The music has been described as ethereal , meaningful and diverse. A two song demo is being produced by Danny Stapleton; A well known engineer in Austin. They can't wait for you to hear what they have been working on.
